This thesis deals with the system of evaluation and remuneration of staff at FOCUS Ltd. The work contains two parts: a theoretical and practical. First mentioned section discusses the basic concepts related to evaluation and remuneration. The second part focuses on a detailed analysis of the current status of the selected companies and research using questionnaires. The aim is to design changes in the system of evaluation and remuneration of staff.

Remuneration of employees aims to serve a fair reward for employee performance and also to encourage him to perform even better. The remuneration system must be fair, effective and should respect labor law as well as the company's strategy. Remuneration includes both classic financial rewards such as wages and employee benefits, but also includes the working environment, training and development of employees and more. And above all, through these rewards, the organization can strengthen relationships with its employees and thus increase the loyalty of its employees. Non-financial rewards usually have a longer-term effect and affect the internal motivation of employees. This work was divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part defined the requirements for the remuneration system, which should be based on the company's strategy. Subsequently, a remuneration strategy was defined, which sets out what the organization intends to do in this area in the long term. In the practical part, the company 5M s.r.o. was briefly introduced, in which an analysis of the remuneration system was performed. After this part, an analysis of the current system of employee remuneration was performed, including individual components of wages, as well as other components of remuneration.
